Carnival Just Launched a Game-Changing New Drink Package for Non-Drinkers
Carnival Cruise Line has just made cruising a lot more fun for folks who don’t drink alcohol. The company rolled out a brand-new package called Cheers! Zero Proof, explicitly designed for guests who want a full menu of non-alcoholic options without feeling like they’re missing out.
For years, the choices were either sticking with soda and juice through the Bottomless Bubbles package or paying for the full Cheers! package, which covers alcohol, most people weren’t going to touch anyway. Now there’s something in the middle that makes way more sense for non-drinkers, and it’s shaping up to be a big hit.

Guests get access to handcrafted zero-proof cocktails, alcohol-free sparkling wine, non-alcoholic beer, smoothies, protein shakes, milkshakes, juices, bottled water (still, sparkling, and even coconut), specialty coffees, teas, frozen mocktails, and energy drinks. It’s essentially all the best parts of a cruise bar menu, minus the alcohol.
For those who used to feel left out while friends ordered fancy drinks, this makes it possible to sip something just as enjoyable and flavorful. Carnival has even expanded its non-alcoholic menu with better ingredients and more creative mixes, so the drinks feel like a proper part of the onboard experience instead of an afterthought.
Behind Why Carnival Made the Change

According to Zachary Sulkes, Carnival’s AVP of beverage operations, guests have been asking for more inclusive options for a while. Carnival also noticed demand for zero-proof cocktails and sodas climbing quickly, especially after the return of Coca-Cola products onboard.
Christine Duffy, Carnival’s president, put it simply: travelers wanted a package that didn’t revolve around alcohol, and now they have it. The non-alcoholic drink market has also grown in popularity, with better flavors and more craft-style options, and Carnival wants to keep pace with that trend.
The Price Breakdown
The cost of Cheers! Zero Proof is $29.99 per person per day, and it must be purchased for the full length of your cruise. It lands right in the middle of Carnival’s drink package lineup. Bottomless Bubbles runs $6.95 per day for kids and $9.50 for adults, but it only includes sodas and juices.
On the other end, the full Cheers! package with alcohol starts at $69.95 per person per day if booked before sailing, or $74.95 onboard. By comparison, Zero Proof gives non-drinkers a much wider variety without paying for alcohol they don’t want. The package works just like the others, meaning it’s tied to your entire trip, but it only applies on the ship itself. It doesn’t cover Carnival’s private destinations like Celebration Key.
Simply a Smart Move

Carnival is showing that it’s listening to what guests are asking for and giving them a way to be part of the same celebratory atmosphere as everyone else. Plus, it saves money compared to buying premium non-alcoholic drinks individually throughout the cruise.
Cheers! Zero Proof may not be as flashy as a new ship or waterpark, but it’s the kind of change that makes a lasting difference to the onboard experience. Now, everyone gets to have something worth raising a glass to, regardless of the contents.
