Eric Ortiz

Eric Ortiz is the head of content and strategy at Big Edition. Prior to joining Big Edition (formerly Granite Media), he was an editor at ESPN.com, the founding editor of NESN.com (New England Sports Network's website) and a managing editor at Truthdig. He also was a John S. Knight Journalism Fellow at Stanford University, ran his own tech media startup and wrote a children's book about community building with his 8-year-old daughter and 5-year-old son called "How the Zookalex Saved the Village." When Eric is not working on Big Edition or giving back to his community, he likes to exercise, cook, read, write and have fun with his family.
