Katie was the founding editor of PopSugar’s food channel where she curated recipes and created party-centric content for over 700,000 readers. Currently, Katie is the editor of Haute Living San Francisco where she writes engaging celebrity profiles and about everything else luxe—from the latest spa openings to the best places for caviar. She’s also Forbes Travel Guide’s Bay Area correspondent covering wine country trends, local hotel happenings, and restaurant industry scoops. In her spare time the Northern California native enjoys cooking and throwing dinner parties. She has hosted culinary events all over the world including the foothills of Bolivia and the beaches of the Bahamas. In her role as a personal chef to the Newsom family, she catered and orchestrated many of Lt. Governor Gavin Newsom and his wife Jennifer Siebel Newsom’s events.
