A trip to Park City won't be easy on your pockets. But it'll definitely be memorable. This gorgeous little ski town in Utah has the largest ski area in the United States, making it perfect for everyone from beginners to pros.
Winter is definitely the best time to be here. During the ski season, the town buzzes with life as people spend the day on the slopes and nights enjoying the après ski scene. Restaurants are also excellent, much more so than you'd expect from a Utah town with a population of less than 8,400.
But don't make the mistake of thinking other seasons aren't worth it. When it's too warm for snow, Park City opens its mountains to bikers and hikers. Hot air balloon rides and rounds of golf are other favored activities to do in warmer months.

Despite its popularity, Park City doesn't have an airport. Instead, those looking to enjoy the town have to fly into Salt Lake City, which is only an hour away.
Many hotels have an airport shuttle available to their guests, which means that it's possible to visit Park City without a car. Possible but not recommendable. Rent a car to have the freedom to visit different ski resorts and areas besides of your hotel.
